Guns of Eschaton arrives on 8 December 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The date was revealed on 15 October at the Galaxies Autumn 2026 Showcase, and the console stores opened pre-orders the same week. On PC the picture is different: Steam shows a wishlist button rather than a price, so nothing can be bought there yet.
That asymmetry is the single most useful thing to know before you spend anything. Console players can lock in a 10% pre-order discount today. PC players cannot, and there is no announced date for when they will be able to.
Buying order
- Release Date and Unlock Times — the date, how each store handles the switch-on, and why the two-edition head start matters.
- PS5 Version — the PlayStation listing, its price, its online requirements and what the console version gets.
- Xbox Version — the Xbox Series X|S listing, its store capabilities and how its online pool is described.
- Physical Copy — whether a disc exists, and what the official channels actually sell.
- Price and Editions — Standard against Pay to Lose, the eight penalty items, and what each version costs before and after the pre-order discount.
What is still open
The PC price has not been published, and no pre-order window for Steam has been announced. Anything that quotes a Steam price today is guessing from the console numbers. The rest of the release picture — date, platforms, editions, discount, early access — is settled and stated by the publisher.
